iPhone OS 3.0 ipsw

Hi all,

I installed Snow Leopard and did not back up my iPhone OS 3.0 ipsw downloaded from iTunes. My phone is Jailbroken, but I want to restore to OS 3.0 and un-jailbreak it.

I downloaded the iPhone OS 3.0 ipsw from iClarified's website when I Jailbroke my phone at the time. Is this ipsw the same one that iTunes provides or is it a special type of ipsw in order to JB your phone?

I found a website, http://www.iphonedownloadblog.com/iphone-downloads/ and was wondering are all the ipsw originals from iTunes/Apple or modified ones in order to jailbreak the iPhones?
