Windows 7 Bootcamp drivers

Sometimes I just have to re-start and try it again. If not some people have had good success by just copying all those drivers onto their hard drive and launching it there.

You need to turn of UAC for the "Elevated Privileges" message to go away.

It will say some of the drivers aren't supported, or something along those lines, but just hit continue, and you should be good to go.

I just got done re-installing Win7 64 on my iMac and I got that same error message when trying to install BC 3.0. I ended up just installing BC 2.1, and then upgrading to 3.0.

Ok... I just solved this one and I hope this can help you if you have not solved it yet...

First:

I got a copy of Bootcamp 3.0 and copied it to my hard disk into a folder named c:\Bootcamp...

Secord:

I went to C:\Bootcamp\Drivers\Apple and found a file named BootCamp64.exe...

Third:

I right clicked and choose Properties and then Compatibility ...

Fourth:

I choose Run this programm with compatibility and selected Older Version of Windows from the dropdown box.

And that's all...

I executed BootCamp64.exe right away and it did installed Bootcamp in 64 bit in my Windows 7 Ultimate 64x...

Now, Keyboard lights up, I can control volume from F5 key and I can see MacOSX partitions in Windows...
