The latest iPhone firmware update enables video editing on the iPod touch and iPhone 3G, according to Gioga23.

iSpazio notes that all you have to do is save a movie from your email. Then you will be able to cut and edit it directly from the camera roll and exactly like you would on 3GS.

just tried it out. It works on the 3g!

What type movies do you need to save, because I could never get this to work with any movies I tried. I'm surprised there wasn't more on this, since the video was pretty hard to tell exactly what he was doing because it was in Italian and he went so fast.
