iPod touch Transferring/Copying Contacts from Touch back to Outlook

Hi

All my contacts have been wiped from Outlook. Luckily I backed them up on my Touch.

How do I copy them back to Outlook using the syncing process in iTunes? I think it should be straightforward but am wary of the various options available in the Advanced section on the Info tab - I don't want these contacts to be wiped as well!
