Wierd 3G screen Problem?

Today I slightly dropped by iPhone and I thought everything was fine until I tried to access apps from my Bottom row, including ipod, notes, ect. It will not let me select the items, it will simply change from app screen to app screen or search.

Also, when I type in landscape it will submit the wrong letter or when I use the spacebar it puts two spaces in automatically? Will apple cover this strange problem?
