Upgrading 17" Powerbook G4

Few questions about this, what is the max harddrive and ram that can be put into it? and what is the latest OS that can be installed on it, im currently running panther on it. TIA

Leopard and I believe at least a 500gb drive can be installed.

Nope, intel only, you have a powerpc processor. (no windows either, for what its worth)

The max hard drive is actually 320GB, so far as I know. Larger laptop drives exist, but the G4 Powerbooks use ATA, not SATA, and the biggest ATA drive I can find is a 320GB WD Scorpio.

You could probably also replace the optical drive with a 2nd hard drive if you REALLY wanted maximum internal storage.
