Looking for a portable

Hello,
I am looking for a portable mac (either ibook or powerbook)
Under $550 with the latest version of osx, and with an airport card installed.
Gently used is acceptable, but I am not looking for 'parts'.
Preferably a battery life over a few hours, and an airport base staton would be great!
It must be a g4 or greater.

If you are interested in selling a computer that fits this critera, or is close enough, reply or send me an e-mail: compie@gmail.com

Thanks

Ps: Also, if you can reply by tomorrow afternoon, or tuesday of next week, I am sure I would take you offer.

If you have a mouse, or a case, or both, I would defanatly consider your offer.

This is my first mac, lets make it a good experince.

Not going to find this...

no G4 less than $550 that isnt anymore than parts, let alone having an airport card.

there's no way you'll be able to get a G5 for $550 or less

try the apple refurb section
i think you can pick up a G4 800MHz ibook for $799 when they have them that's probably your best bet or ebay, i highly doubt you'll be able to find a G4 for less than 550

Yea, I have found quite a few on ebay that fit the criteria.
I am going to bid tomorrow on one if nothing shows up here.

Thanks for the help

you are wasting your time...

just searched for completed 550 G4's on Ebay... they are all $800+

I wish you well on your endeavor, but this is not going to happen for < $550...

the G4 ibooks and powerbooks on eBay get bid up beyond $550. even the lowliest G4 powerbook, the 400MHz Titanium model from early 2001, goes for $600-700, unless there's something seriously wrong with it like fire damage or a messed up screen. you could get a messed up titanium powerbook (aka TiBook) for $550 or less. to find one in good condition, howeve, will take some luck and good timing.
