I remember reading the minimum was around $70. Is that still true?

What is this fan discount? I've heard other people say that in other post as well. I haven't switched to AT&T yet but we are in a few months.

I believe it stands for Foundation Account Number - it's basically a company discount. Depending on the company you work for, you may or not be eligible to receive a discount on your service with AT&T.

Ours is around $250 a month, for 5 lines.
Mine is the only iPhone line (39.99 --> 30 data + 9.99 add a line) and roadside assistance. We have a 1400/min plan with rollover and $30 unlimited messaging plan. There is some misc. features on the other lines too.

What?!
… I'm pouring out about $100 ![]() Well my data plan requires one to be on a FAN account, so technically it's already discounted.

I get a 20% discount and joined my mom's family plan.
Now, I pay nothing! She is saving money even with my data plan added to the bill. Thank God for large corporations....

Plans here are different. Mine is a Pay as you go plan. I pay 20€ every month and that gives me 500MB of data and 1500 texts per week for people in my carrier. Then I still have the 20€ for calls and texts for other carriers. It's perfect for me.
But that also means that I payed full price for my iPhone, which I actually prefer than being stuck on a 2 year contract.

![]() For the breakdown: 1) $31 for 450 minutes plan 2) $65 for enterprise data 3) $5 for 200 SMS/MMS That's $100; oh I forgot to add my taxes, so that would up it to around $110. Right now I'm burning through my accrued rollover at a rate of 800 a month, which should mean in about 3 months I'll need to up my plan to 1300 minutes which will also raise my bill by about $35 (with tax). Yeah it's not fun, but I don't have a landline, so this my only phone. And it's good to have another member, who recognizes the location ![]() Quote:
That €20 would be fine with me. I mean I think I could start using wireless at home, only using the cellular data as needed. I'd be willing to substantially cut back my data usage in order to possibly quarter or even just halve my bill.
