No. You will need a mini DisplayPort to DVi adapter, unless your monitor supports DisplayPort. If that's the case, you can use a MDP > DP cable.
Thx for the info! I'll pop by my local Apple store and get one today... (a pity; the adapter from my iMac did not work 🙁 )
