iPod 2nd or 3rd gen ipod touch?

Well i got my ipod touch for free when i got my macbook pro at best buy in mid-late august and im trying to sell it brand new... but iono what to tell ppl when they ask if its 2nd or 3rd gen. How do i find out which gen it is?
