I have just bought a mac pro laptop
I find the the font size of the screen hard to read
how do I change the font size of the letters so I can read the text better
thanks for any feedback🙁

In Safari you can use CMD and +/- to increase/decrease the size of the webpage.

Systemwide is not so easy. You could use CTRL + Scroll Wheel/two-finger scrolling to zoom in and out of the screen.

Have you by any chance bought the 17-inch MacBook Pro?

It gives some people headaches as the resolution is so high (that of a 24-inch screen).

In Safari you can use CMD and +/- to increase/decrease the size of the webpage.

Or, if you prefer, use the increase/decrease font size icon in the Toolbar. If you don't see that:

Control-click or Right-click on you Toolbar and select Customize Toolbar
A "menu" of buttons appears
Drag the small capital A / large capital A to your Toolbar

Just another way:
Command a selects all then
Command Shift + increases the font size and
Command - (Minus) decreases the font size.

You can also change the screen resolution in System Prefs > Displays but you might not like the result. Other options in System Prefs > Universal access.
