Wargame

Hi,

Jemast Software is a new development studio and we are proud to present you our very first application for iPhone and iPod Touch: Wargame.

Wargame allows the player to experience a true turn-based strategy game, alone or with friends. With our special tactical map, multiple factions to play, many opportunities to upgrade your countries and countless way to achieve victory, we have the ambition to bring a new and epic feeling to the strategy games on iphone.

We are a small team of enthusiast players and we would be happy to have your opinion about the game. Every criticism you could do, good or not would allow us to upgrade Wargame and our future productions.

Hello,

I registered just to post on this thread. When I saw your game I was quite excited to play. I admin a political sim game at glopol.net/forums and am very very much into these games. I tried out your lite version and want to give you some direct feedback.

The game was nice as far as sound effects. I liked the fact that you enabled the ability to upgrade nations, BUT I felt like the game did get a bit repetitive. It seemed like it was a good game of RISK. I would like to see more political feedback. Maybe actual dialog from world leaders that would maybe join me or decide to join the enemy. I would like to have the ability to peacefully gain another nation under my flagship versus having to attack. If you could include actual dialog and political simulating in conjunction with the current battle system, I would easily pay 4.99 for this app! Would be an amazing portable political sim that would have me hooked like a fish. I understand that it would be difficult to do every leader of the world, but the messages could be somewhat generic outside of some of the most popular nations in the world. For example members of NATO or Shanghai Coop would be enough to tickle my fancy.

Do you think you will ever be able to add such features?

Oh man, thank you for this! I checked out the video and it looks really interesting. I've been looking for an app that is remotely similar to Risk on the iPhone.

Thank you for your replies!

corriewf > Thanks for your feedback it's highly appreciated. While we had many plans for this game and its features, we're a very small structure and have few resources so we tried to put what we thought was the major features of the game we wanted to create. About political aspects, we do plan to add at least an alliance system but all your suggestions are most interesting and while I cannot guarantee you that we will be adding every aspect you mentioned, we will consider adding such features or at least we will work our alliance system with your suggestions in mind.

RobMSantos > I recommend you take a shot at the Lite version. While we have removed some options of the full version, it will give you a good idea of the general gameplay. Be sure to check out our website as there is a tutorial with detailed gameplay instructions (direct link here : http://www.jemast.com/wargame/tutorial.html ).

Tell us what you think. We pay a particular attention to feedback, reviews and criticism so that we can improve our game. Right now, we're working on a quick fix to add an in-game tutorial so that newcomers feel at ease with the game.

Hey Jeremie,

Thanks for your response. I hope you do not take my feedback the wrong way. Your game is amazing and I love it. It plays really smooth and has some great audio to accompany everything. Even lacking the features I mentioned, it is a great game! Good job! Being someone that is really big into these games, I know how great the foundation you have made in this game can be. If you can, take a look at this game http://www.superpower2game.com/ . It is a political sim game for the PC that has a very strong following. If you could use your current version of this game and incorporate some of these added political simulation features, you could probably charge even more than 4.99 and have quite a following as the first full political sim on the Iphone.

Thanks again for accepting my feedback and responding.

Thanks,

Corrie
