Using an eSATA drive via an Express Card

I have an eSATA drive that was formatted on Windows using Bootcamp. It is connected via an Express Card. I want to now format it for OSX. But when I boot to OSX I don't even see the drive. Is there something I have to do to enable the Express Card?

So when you run Disk Utility (either via an OS X HD boot or DVD boot), you're not seeing the eSATA drive show up in the list of devices at all?

What brand and model of ExpressCard is it? It is possible that you need to download OS X drivers for it.

Did you install a driver for the express card eSATA adapter? If not that is probably why you can't see the drive.

edit: Oh never mind someone got to it before me

That is probably the problem. It is by APIOTEK. I will get onto their web site and see if there is a MAC driver.
