Last night, my phone had some strange deal, it wouldn't turn leave the iPod app so I held down the power and home button to reset it. When I did this it booted up again but the screen was gray/white. I tried holding the home and power button again and it rebooted to a screen saying springboard had crashed and it was in some sort of "safe mode". I restarted the phone and all was fine.
After this, I plugged my iPhone into my wall charger last night and woke up this morning to find my phone was dead. No, the power didn't go out last night. I tried charging it via my Macbook Pro and in my car, still no luck. Basically the screen turns on when I plug it in but the battery is totally drained (red battery bar) so the phone doesn't boot up. No matter how much I charge it it doesn't boot up. I've tried holding home + power. Took it to Apple, no luck (appointment scheduled for a few days from now). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
