a good external firewire hard drive

Just curious...what brand do most of you's prefer as a secondary external hard drive(firewire..of course).
i know most, if not all are mac compatble...but i just want to be sure when i kick down for a 250 GB drive. this will be for video files for final cut pro by the way.

LaCie

I bought a LaCie Porsche 160 Gig 2 months ago and its broke 😱
Apparently LaCie had some issues with the Firewire 800 and they offered an update on their site to fix the bug. It came to late for me.

Now I have to figure out how to get at least some of the data back and send LaCie their Harddisk so that they can send me a new one. 😡

Duff-Man says....I would suggest searching/reading the Buyer's Guide forums here as there have been numerous threads in there with lots of good opinions.....oh yeah!
