Why Can't I Jailbreak

When I use blackra1n it just screws up. When I click make it ra1n, then blackra1n says wait for reboot, my iPod doesn't reboot. The iPod just stays shut off in recovery mode. Then I restore via iTunes and the process starts all over again.

I take it you are trying to jailbreak the 8GB 2G Touch in your sig, is it the original 8GB 2G Touch released last year or the $199 version released Sep 2009 along with the new 32/64GB 3G Touch? Does the model number begin with MC or MB?

I'm pretty sure that because your model number begins with MC, you can't jailbreak it at this point.
