Is 1 Generation Old Airport Extreme N-Certified?

So Apple went out of their way to say how the new Time Capsule and Airport Extreme are certified for the final N spec, but what about my recently purchased dual-band Airport Extreme? I know it's slower than the new Airport Extreme, but I always thought it would just be firmware-upgradable to the final N spec.
