Hi,
I have a Mac Pro with 10.6. At one point last week I used boot camp to create a partition for windows, and after realizing that I dont use it since I have a pc sitting right next to the mac I decided to remove it (again using boot camp).
Now when I restart the mac I get the apple logo with a flashing circle with a cross through it (like no smoking symbol) which means it is having trouble finding something to boot.
If I hold down option key when i turn it on it gives me the single option to click the Macintosh HD to load OSX and it boots fine.
My question is, whatever has gotten screwed up, how can I fix it so that it will just load osx without me having to hold option and click the hD?
Thanks!
