Any suggestions for internal DVD burners and firewire casing for my iBook??

I've looked for some burners but they never specified anything about Mac, so advice needed. Thankx

Someone on MacBidouille did the replacement

Also MCE proposes a replacement superdrive.

I don't know about internal drives, but I have had excellent luck with bytecc FW cases, combined with Pioneer DVD burners.

Over at Pricewatch.com, you can find the case for about $40, and the drive I believe can be had for around $140.

Problem is that it can't be use with iDvd 🙁

I think that they changed that for iDVD...

Also, I know of a hack that will allow other iLife apps to use these drives.

I'll see if I can find the link.
