Baseline new Mac Mini for Web development / Photoshop - I have questions

I'm looking to get a MBP, but since i can't swing the $3k+ for it (laptop, warrenty, accessories, and software) I want to get a mac mini.

How well does it run the Adobe suite?

can i hook it straight up to my own vga / dvi moniter?

will my standard windows keyboard / mouse work with it, usb?

Where is a good place to find benchmarks on this product?

any advice?

yeah the mini should run Photoshop fine. Would help to bump the RAM to 4GB. You can use any USB mouse/keyboard on it.

The insides are pretty much the same as the lower-end Macbook Pro. As long as you have 4GB of RAM (Photoshop CS3 can use up to 3), there's not a noticeable difference between the 2.53 mini and 2.66 Macbook Pro (at least not to me).

It should run Abode fine,
and any USB mouse/keyboard will work with it
