On the TiBook 400, I have a horrible time attempting to eject CD and DVD's.

At one point Apple repaired this for me, and all worked great, but its back. I can slip a business card in to deflect the disk downward so it ejects, but what can I do for a more elegant solution? Any thoughts?

I would prefer not to buy a new drive for it.

Your best option is to get the drive replaced, shoving things inside the drive to get the CD out could only end up damaging things more.

I had this problem with my Tibook 500 and eventually the disk stopped coming out. I would pry down the plastic so the disk could slide out. After the drive died and I had a new one put in the problem stopped.
