My intel macbook wont boot. Prior to it not booting the disk utility would not work and it would not mount disk images. I have tried entering safe mode it will not work and a few other things all of which did not work.
So I went out and bought the SL upgrade pack to try to boot from it. My problem is the internal dvd drive is broken so I have it hooked up with a usb dvd drive. I held down the option key and selected the external drive with SL on it. Right now itis sitting on the grey screen thinking but the dvd drive only ran for 5 min or so. I have no other restore discs available. I dont know what to do or try next.
