Fixed Bluetooth on 2009 Mac Pro!!! With pics.
I got tired of the bluetooth crappy performance so I decided to fix it. I cannibalized an old Toshiba laptop's wireless antenna and made an external antenna out of it. I had to cut and splice the micro coax wire so it would fit through the grate. That was the only challenge. Took about 20 minutes total. Works perfect from about ten feet away.
