applescript problem with snow leopard

This seems like a moronic question, but I don't seem to be able to type anything in the Applescript editor since installing Snow Leopard. It's as if there is a font problem or something... Has anyone run into this issue?

Problem solved. I changed to courier new font and everything seems fine.
