Questions about AirPort updates?
When the new wifi thing that comes after IEEE 802.11 n comes out, will the AirPort Express and Extreme need a hardware update or firmware update? Like when they used to use wireless g did they need to get a hardware or firmware update to be able to use wireless n?

Hardware upgrades. The chipsets actually need to be different for each version. However they make each future version backward compatible with the previous versions.
