iPod My ipod classic won't sync.

I've read other forums, googled, asked friends, etc. about the problem i'm having. I cannot sync to itunes. I've tried the 5r's, disk mode, even updated to itunes 9, you name it.

Here's what i'm working with.

-I have my itunes on a PC (i know) with vista (i know)
-I plug in iPod, itunes freezes. can't click on it or anything.
-ipod goes into "do not disconnect"
-nothing appears on itunes that ipod is connected
-pull out ipod, itunes says, "required folder not found."
-use a different computer with itunes, and it works.

Somebody please help!
