Use Windows machine on same monitor as mac?

How can I hook up my windows machine to the same monitor (apple 17" flat panel studio display) as my G5?

Tough one.

AFAIK, you'll need a DVI switch and an expensive ($99) ADC->DVI converter. Plug the 17" display into the converter, plug one DVI port on the switch into the Mac, and the other into the PC - assuming the PC has DVI.

Might be cheaper to buy another monitor. 😉

Is a DVI switch the same as a KVM switch? just curious. Sounds like what I would do.
