The ticker stops about halfway threw during the install (they are the right drivers because the nvida scan told me so). I went into Device manager at it has the newer date at 1/30/2009. However Im not sure if it worked or not, how should I cancel the install?

No, you can just update them. I've done that on my Air's 9400M under Windows 7
