iPod touch how can I get all my app purchases back in one shot?

Just right click on the iPhone on the left pane of iTunes and click on "transfer purchases."
it's a new ipod touch. There is nothing on it. I don't have the original library on the computer. Is there a way to quickly download my apps from my account history? I don't want to have to download them one by one.

In that case you HAVE TO download them one by one. Well done for not keeping a backup.

What happened to your previous device? You could transfer from that, if you still have it.
