When i first got my iphone and was running 3.0 i was able to connect to

and use Pandora since im in Canada.
Ever since the first 3.1 update i havnt been able to get back on there it keeps giving me "The L2TP VPN server did not respond" error and i followed all the instructions to the bone and did them three times.
Does anyone know a work around this? Or perhaps another free VPN service i can use to trick pandora thinking im in the US?
Phone is not jailbroken or anything. I wish i can could just go back to 3.0
