topmounter macrumors 68030 Nov 9, 2009 #2 Restart the machine and it magically starts working again. You "may" need to disable/re-enable in sys prefs first.

ravenvii macrumors 604 Original poster Nov 9, 2009 #4 I restarted, but it didn't work. So I went into preferences and turned off, then on two-finger swipes, and repaired permissions for good measure, and restarted. It's alive! It's alive! 🙂
