Question 27 imac i7 - Memory Upgrade Question?

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone can verify, will this memory fit into my new 27" imac i7?

http://www.crucial.com/store/partspe...KIT25664BC1339

I live in Canada and will like to order an additional 4GB to put into the system but I dont know where it is best to order from or has the best prices. Thanks.

Also, does it have to be 1066 MHz or does 1060 MHz work?

That's 1333MHz DDR3 PC3-10600 RAM so it might not work but this will!

You want the SoDIMM (the laptop size). The Crucial should work fine.

So it doesnt matter that they are i7's ? The memory upgrades are universal on the 27" iMacs? Read online somewhere that they may be different?

Crucial can't be wrong with RAM because you can search RAM for certain computer and the link I provided is for 27" 2.8GHz quad-core Core i7 iMac

Kingston part for your i7

You can use the Kingston memory finder on the NCIX web site to find memory for your i7 (or any other Apple Kingston supports). The URL is:
http://www.ncix.com/kingston.php

The Kingston part numbers are:
KTA-MB1066K2/4G
KTA-MB1066K2/8G

Hope I'm not too late!
