iMac 27" 2012 with i7 + gtx 680mx gaming performance ?
Hi
I am going to get new 2012 iMac 27" with upgrade of processor to i7 & gpu to gtx 680mx 2gb I'll install Windows 7 (bootcamp) & wanna play windows version of games here's the games I usually/wanna play Hitman 5: absulution Max payne 3 COD GTA V (when relese) Assasin creed 3 etc.. can anyone plz tell me if they gonna run on my iMac...not just run, smoothly also better if u share from ur own experience & wht setting u used? low/medium/high? |

Agreed.
FYI, Hitman: Absolution, Max Payne 3, CoD, Assassins Creed 3 run all pretty well on the 17" mid 2010 Macbook Pro, which is prehistoric hardware compared to your 2012 iMac.

Yes, that should be fine.
Recognize that when you boot into Win7 via Bootcamp, you are running an actual Windows computer, even though it is a Mac. With the i7 and 680 GPU, you won't have any problems. FYI, Apple usually does *not* update their Bootcamp drivers regularly, so you will likely have to update your video card drivers on your own (and any other important drivers). This was important for me for Skyrim. |
