12" PB heats up faster with new 512MB RAM!

I just received my 512MB stick from Crucial and installed it today. And I have noticed that the PB is getting warmer a lot quicker, and I am not using any more applications than before nor am I using it on a different surface. Is this affecting anyone else? Is there a reason for this?

Thx Superbovine. Keep me up to date on your situation. In the mean time I am buying one of those Targus Cooling Pads. I have $30 gift card at BestBuy and I can see how I can use it toward my PB.
I suspected additional heat from the stick of memory, but this is spreading to more areas than near the memory.
