rEFIt won't load

My rEFIt won't load anymore. My computer simply boots straight into OS X. I tried the uninstall/reinstall routine, and nothing changed. I think it might mave something to do with installing OnyX, but I'm not sure how to get the computer to boot to rEFIt instead of straight into OS X.
