Sorry to disappoint you. 🙂
How can this be? Ice requires oxygen. There is not oxygen on the moon or anywhere else in space as we are able to observe.
is that a fact? ice requires oxygen?
i would assume the ice was underground....could there be oxygen there? i am not a chemist..and its somewhat difficult to fake one too...
NASA has found a 'significant amount' of water on the moon, said Anthony Colaprete, principal investigator for the Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite..

There's a "significant amount" of water in my basement; I don't see NASA sending a billion dollar expedition there!
I wonder if this is from the latest project they did with Northrup Grumman. I can't remember the name right now. The one where they smashed a rocket into the side of the moon.
This is going to be good, They wanted this so that they can use the moon as a jump off point for future space flights. Considering a good majority of the gas is used up when the rocket/space shuttle is leaving the earth, this will be a good place to refuel.
Can't remember why the needed the water etc....... Don't have to time to google it... Something with mixing fuel etc... I think.

Earth First! We'll mine the other planets later.

Water was created at some point in Earth's history. Also, the moon was created out of bits and pieces of the Earth at one point ... if such is the case that water was made on the Earth before the Moon was created, then it's a possibility that there is ice on the Moon because of this.
So it's not made out of cheese? 😱

Hmm ... fighting ignorance with ignorance (not an insult - I'm personally ignorant of many things).
