I am planning to replace the 2GB (2x1GB) memory modules that came with my macbook (Alum unibody).

What is the best way to make use of the old memory (2x1GB) ? if I could sell them, what is the price they normally go for ?

I would hold on to the memory; if you ever need to take it in for service, it's better to have the original memory in it. Sometimes Apple will replace back to the original memory.

They are pretty worthless on the open market. I would just keep them as a backup as the previous poster mentioned.

Keep them for warranty; I made the mistake of selling them and when I needed them for warranty, had to buy them back at a premium.
