Change iPods name

Do any of you guys know how to change the ipods name when it shows up in itunes or the finder? I kinda gave mine a stupid name....

That's very easy. To do it from iTunes, do a delayed double-click on the iPod icon (a delayed double click is click, pause 0.5 sec, click again). The name will become editable - rename it to whatever you like.
From the Finder, select the iPod's icon and Get Info on it (File->Get Info or Command+I), then change the name in the Name & Extension field.

you can also highlight it in finder and hit enter

That only works if the iPod icon is on your desktop. If it's sidebar only, like mine is, that method fails.
