any1 got any ideas why my iphone takes 44 seconds to boot up not that its really bothering me but its quite embaressing seeing a 3g boot up faster than mine. mine is unlocked and jailbroken does that make a difference?

I knew it was a 3GS, but you were comparing it to a 3G. I think it depends on what you have on it and how much free space is left over. I have almost 15 GB on my 16 GB 3G.

lol i only got 2gb seems like i might have a issue 44 seconds quite embarissing for a so called speed phone

Sometimes if your jailbroken it can take longer for it to boot up. I happened with my iPod Touch it took longer to boot when it was jailbroken.

I think it's amusing how my MacBook boots up faster than my iPhone does. I can probably fully boot up my MacBook and power it completely down before my phone turns all the way on.

Who cares? How often do you boot up?

true say lol, i worked it out anyway. when it was jailbroken it took 16seconds when i unlocked it using black sn0w it slowed it abit. but like you said who cares i made a pointless thread sorry.

Under a minute, HA

My jailbroken iPhone 3GS easily takes 2-3 minutes to boot everytime and I am not exaggerating. I would only love for it to be under a minute but no dice.
