Connecting to Windows 2003 shares

Anyone know how to do this properly? Whenever I connect to my server, via smb://server_name, and type in my domain/user/pass, I get "could not connect to server because the name or password is not correct."

I can connect fine to my XP machine(s), but not the server OS. I assume there's a policy setting preventing my powerbook from connecting, but I haven't had the chance to really look for it. Thanks.

Still, your response was accurate and to the point so I can't complain further.

Incidentally Versello them stickies is always worth plundering for this kind of query.

yeah well, you know, the sticky is at the top of this specific forum, you'd have had to browse this forum to post a thread in it, you just might think to yourself, hmmmm, maybe that sticky could help?
