has anyone here canibalized the muvo for its 4 gb hitatchi microdrive and successfully used it for their d70

im currently purchasing a d70 and might shell out for the muvo just for its microdrive
 
check out the forums on dpreview.com. It has been done I think, but it will be slower than a compact flash card. (Dont know if you will notice it though)

iv read in other places that it can be done, but im looking for first hand accounts from macrumors members of successful canibalization 🙂

im worried it might not be compatible and i end up with a music player i dont need or want
