iOS GameKit peer picker problem

i'm using gamekit's peer picker, i implemented all the delegate methods.
the peer picker shows up on both devices and they each show up at each other's nearby devices list. BUT when i click to select on the peer picker NOTHING happens. help?

EDIT: found the problem: cocos2d..
