Springboard Failed???

Okay so I have no idea why this happened or what it means.. hopefully someone can help me out. So my girlfriend has a 2g iphone, that ive jailbroken. its running on 3.0 and yesterday she got a message that said "SPRINGBOARD FAILED, springboard did not cause it but was protecting iphone. Then the wallpaper was a sad face with the eyes X' out. Then told her to restart springboard...

once she did restart it, it was fine but why would she get that message and a dead sad face?
 
It happens. It just means something went wrong. All you have to do is respring and pretend like it never happened. Its pretty common with JB phones.
 
okay, thanks, well she called me freaking out about it... i just wanted to make sure it was nothing serious
