I'm using a Mac mini to feed ALAC and studio masters through a PS Audio DAC to a pair of B&W 804S.
I've been using an optical TOSLINK to connect the Mac mini to the DAC and at 44.1kHz it sounds great. 96kHz is the highest sample rate I can use through optical and it is somewhat jittery, so I'd like to use digital coaxial instead.
I'd like to output 24-bit 192kHz to the DAC with low jitter which the DAC should be able to receive through digital coaxial. What is the best way to do this?
I saw a USB adapter from Bel Canto but it is USB 1.1 and limited to 96kHz.
