iPod Sorting Movies....won't sort alphabetically

Has anyone else had the issue where they can't get their movies to sort alphabetically in iTunes? The movies seem to want to simply sort in the order they were added, and won't let me move them within the library to get the order I want.
why in the world can't you sort alphabetically or even sort at all? Who would want their movies always listed in the order of purchase date?

any suggestions?

I'm not sure I understand.

You're clicking on the «name» column header and it still does not sort by name? But it works for «date added». Is «name» the only column that does not work?

On your main itunes header go to View
then click View options. You might want to be in your movie section when you click that.

see if date added is clicked.... then unclick
