Can anyone tell me how to get my iDisk to auto mount when i start my computer up?

My Powerbook already does this, all i did was put int he details in the .mac preferance pane and bam! everytime i boot its there.

My iMac i did the same thing but... i have to go to the go menu and mount it there, i can seem to find any preferences or tick boxs etc anywhere to make it auto mount!

Go to Finder-->Preferences

Under the "General" tab, check the "CD's DVDs and iPods" box under the section called "Show these items on the Desktop"

Brilliant, thank you, so obvious as well!
Actually, not obvious at all.... 😉

I've always had these things checked, and so never missed seeing the iDisk icon, but I would never have assumed that "CDs, DVDs, and iPods" would somehow cover iDisk. I would have assumed it fell under "Hard disks" (sort of) or "Connected servers".

On the other hand, the Finder->Preferences->Sidebar checkbox is explicit enough.
