iTunes sharing on mac and pc woes/plz help

I am having a problem getting itunes sharing to work on my mac powerbook and my win pc desktop. i have pc connected to linksys wired router and my mac is connected via snow airport thru the router for net access. i turned itunes sharing on on both machines, but they dont show up on eachothers' lists. what do i do? is it a port issue? 🙁

Long story short: Both of them must be behind the same router, doesn't matter which.
