"need space on startup disk" message + mac running slow + won't charge/diskdrive prob

my computer won't charge when plugged in. cleaning the port with compressed air didn't do anything.

disk drive spits out any and all disks.

now it's showing me a message that says the startup drive needs more space, and it's running SO SLOWLY. i've checked for viruses and there are none.

it's sounding like it's going to die. help! 🙁
