rebate submission

I finally received all of my stuff I ordered from Apple. Here's what I did...got in on the Cram and Jam deal and the free HP printer deal. Here's my problem....everything wants the original UPC codes. That's not a problem for the ipod and printer, but I only have one powerbook UPC. Can I make copies of UPC's and send them? Will my Applecare be void if I don't have the real UPC sticker? I not sure how to do this rebate thing. Apple said to send one in first with all the real stuff and then send the other in a little later with a copied UPC so that they know they have my original UPC. PLEASE HELP!
