Im trying to ssh into my iphone to delete some files that arent working right.
But Im using cyberduck, and ive put im pretty sure everything that im supposed to.

server= my ip address of iphone
port= 22
username= root
password= alpine

But when I try to connect it say," I/O Error: Connection Failed"

I've read other forums on this and I don't know what else to do=[

Please help try to walk me through this.

Also Any other things you might what to know is that my iPhone 3G is the 3.1.2. And no I do not have auto-lock on.

Disable ANY type of firewall or anything, turn it off and then reboot. It should work for you then.:)
On my computer? I don't know much about computers, so how would I go about doing that? Sorry, if thats a hassle?

same, firewall is not causing it
cyberduck is basically junk
plenty of us are having the problem
plenty of threads about with the same issues

to connect i just keep hitting try again
usually works after 50-100 times lol

im yet to find someone who can explain it...

Install Openssh from Cydia

Sorry my friend. Maybe is a ******** what i`m say but try to install from cydia "Openssh" and you have to choose "sftp".
